Tarik is a professional who is continuously showing intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary thinking, and demonstrates the ability to ‘connect the dots’. He is a Hydraulic Engineer (C.Eng.), he holds a Master Degree in Applied Science (M.Sc.) from The University of Liège, Belgium and an Executive Business Management Degree from INSEAD.

He acquired his first professional experience in Belgium as a Project Engineer in the water and wastewater division of Tractebel.

Tarik is well versed in testing Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector, he contributed for the past two decades in protecting and enhancing public health by leading NSF International Water Certification Programs in EMEA. He is today also active and involved in sustainability, water and energy engineering related topics.

Tarik represents European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) as Head of HP Keymark Secretariat in Brussels. His main responsibilities include the certification scheme management, coordination and its development.
