Report and webinar: thermally-driven heat pump technology

28 Oct 2022

Thermally driven heat pumps use heat or an engine, rather than electricity, to provide the small amount of extra energy the appliance needs to do the job.

A new and innovative segment of the heat pump market, thermally driven heat pumps have various uses. For example, they can be used in areas where this is not enough load from the electric grid or in harsh climates.

In this report, the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), the European Heating Industry (EHI) group, and their expert members provide an insight into the various types of thermally driven heat pump technology and explain how it works.

Webinar slides and recording available

On Monday 28 November 2022, EHPA and EHI hosted a webinar on thermally-driven heat pump technology. You can download the slides here and find the recording on EHPA’s Youtube channel.
