Anastasiia moved to Brussels in 2022 after completing her Masters in International Media Studies at DW Akademie, Bonn University, and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University. Originally from Russia, she grew up in a small village near Finland before relocating to Saint Petersburg for her studies and career, where she worked as an editor, translator, copywriter, and website manager.

In Europe, Anastasiia has consciously centred her career and personal life around sustainability, driven by her deep love for nature. She has as well completed two internships in the sustainable energy sector. As a vegan with a profound respect for both plants and animals, she volunteers with JGI Belgium, mainly on tree planting initiatives. Anastasiia views nature as a guiding force of life and her best friend. She believes that addressing the climate crisis starts with rethinking our relationship with ourselves and the world. She advocates for systemic change and an economy centred on wellbeing for all.

In August 2024, Anastasiia joined EHPA and the Membership & Events team as Membership & Events Officer.
