ISH is a trade fair focusing on the responsible management of water and energy in buildings. It is the largest in the sector and takes place over five days every two years at MesseFrankfurt in Germany.

The last in-person edition in 2019 saw more than 199,000 visitors and over 2,500 exhibitors. In 2021, the show was hosted online due to the COVID pandemic. This year, ISH will open its physical doors once again to welcome international experts and enthusiasts of the sector between 13 and 17 March. In addition to the in-person trade fair experience, ISH 2023 will also offer a digital extension, an online version of the fair, between 13 and 24 March.

Come and meet us

EHPA will be exhibiting along with the Heat Pump KEYMARK certification, the European third-party certification for heat pumps and the support of two EU-funded projects: SunHorizon and Electric Ireland Superhomes. Our association will be also partnering up with Bundesverband Wärmepumpe (BWP), the German heat pump association. Our joint booth will be located in Hall 12.1, in Foyer 01. If you are also attending the fair, feel free to come by and have a chat with us. You will have a chance to become the next heat pump superhero and get fit to reach the climate targets! We will be happy to discuss all things heat pump, answer your questions and hear your thoughts on the current and future outlook of the industry.

Workshop on the heat pump certification

If you are interested in learning more about the key to opening new doors to the European heat pump market, the Heat Pump KEYMARK secretariat, with the Empowered certification body DIN CERTCO and recognised testing laboratory TÜV, will be giving a presentation on the voluntary product certification. Join us to find out about the recognition of KEYMARK across Europe, its compliance with standards and regulations, the application process and the benefits to both manufacturers and end users. A Q&A session will follow to answer further questions from the participants.

When: Tuesday 14 March, 10.00am-12.00pm CET

Where: Room Inspiration 2, Hall 10.2

Meet & drink

On the evening of Wednesday 15 March, we will be hosting a reception to chat with our members and meet new contacts. You are invited to come for a drink at our booth starting 4 pm CET for networking and exchanging on the challenges and priorities of the heating and cooling sector.

When: Wednesday 15 March, 4.00 pm CET

Where: Hall 12.1, in Foyer 01

ISH is a great opportunity to meet and interact with stakeholders of the industry. You will get the chance to deepen your knowledge related to heat pump technology and capture market trends and needs across Europe and beyond.

We look forward to seeing and meeting you soon in Frankfurt!
