This project maintains a strong focus on expanding the membership of the RHC-ETIP by more closely involving national-level policymakers and stakeholders in the renewable heating and cooling (RHC) sector, as well as other relevant actors—such as emerging markets on the heating and cooling demand side and socioeconomic experts.

In addition, the project places greater emphasis on the RHC industry through the establishment of the RHC Accelerator and the development of an RHC industrial strategy. By fostering collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders—including industry representatives, researchers, and academics across different RHC technologies—and by integrating complementary sectors and areas of expertise, SecRHC-ETIP will support the RHC sector in strengthening its growth and competitiveness. This will enhance its position not only in relation to traditional heating and cooling technologies but also in comparison to other renewable energy sources and non-EU competitors.
