Welcome to EHPA!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the European Heat Pump Association! Membership in EHPA is open to organisations active in the heat pump sector – including manufacturers, research institutions, energy providers, consultancies and associations.

By joining our organisation, you are taking an important step towards supporting the development and shaping the future of the European heat pump industry.

Completing this application form will take about 15-20 minutes. Please have the following information and documents ready: motivation for applying, company/organisation details, logo, social media links, details of contact persons, and, depending on your selected membership category, you may also be requested to upload a financial statement (confirming your annual turnover relating to heat pumps).

What happens next? Your application will be reviewed by our Board. We will inform you of the outcome and, if your membership has been confirmed, send you an invoice, onboard you and provide access to our members-only area.

Applicable to all members in 2025. We consider the annual turnover linked to HP activity. Based on the fees defined by the General Assembly on 7.6.2023 for 2024, a 3% indexation has been applied for 2025.

COM categories are for companies that manufacture heat pumps, subsystems and components and place them on the market. Companies that place heat pumps on the market as their core business, including by providing heat as a service or heat pumpbased services to business and end consumers. These services include, but are not limited to, consultation, design, installation, repair, distribution, optimization of heat pump systems for heating, cooling, and hot water purposes and ongoing support tailored to the specific needs of clients (B2B and B2C).

Startups are commercial enterprises with fewer than 50 employees and an annual turnover from heat pump-related activities of less than EUR 1 million. Startups benefit from a reduced entry membership fee for a maximum duration of two years. After this period, or once they exceed these thresholds, they are reclassified under the Commercial Enterprise category.

*By submitting this membership application, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in Article 6.4 of the Articles of Association of EHPA:

6.4 Resignation/Withdrawal: A Member may withdraw from the grouping by notification in writing to the Board six months in advance of the date of the effectiveness of such deregistration. For a withdrawal of membership to take effect in the year following the year of withdrawal, the Board must be notified before the first of July of the current year. In no event shall the resignation affect compliance with the financial obligations of the Member which shall be satisfied until the resignation takes effect. During the six months period, the Member concerned shall keep all its rights and obligations towards the association. Membership fees paid for the calendar year will not be refunded due to resignation
