We are delighted to invite you to Watt’s Next, the online event looking at how to help industry decarbonise, taking place on 15 October 2025 from 9:00-10:30 CEST.
Industrial heat remains a major source of greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for two-thirds of industrial energy demand.
Electrifying heat through clean and efficient technologies such as heat pumps and the Organic Rankine Cycle – a means of converting low-temperature heat into electricity through an organic fluid – is critical for reducing emissions and improving Europe’s energy security.
Organised by the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), the European Climate Foundation (ECF) and the Knowledge Centre on Organic Rankine Cycle technology (KCORC), this webinar will:
- Showcase industrial electrification potential by demonstrating practical use cases of heat pumps and ORC technologies.
- Engage with EU industry stakeholders, including policymakers, manufacturing industry representatives, technology providers, energy service companies (ESCO), utility companies, end users, and experts in the field.
- Support EU policy development by providing recommendations to the Electrification Action Plan and Heating & Cooling Strategy.
- Promote cross-border learning through national and regional case studies and insights, recent research and data.
