Worker shortages doubled between 2015 and 2021 in some green transition sectors.

We need to work on skills as well as attract and train many more candidates, especially in technical jobs.

EHPA signed a letter with 11 other organisations on this to the European Commission and Member States.

We call for Member States to assess the skills gap and the European Commission to set up a campaign to attract more people to energy efficiency related jobs. Both these measures are part of EU law and must now be implemented.
