Register now: #HPForum Ambition requires action – Heat Pump Accelerator for REPowerEU

28 September 2022 - Atomium, Brussels

EHPA’s flagship event, the Heat Pump Forum, takes place on 28 September at the Brussels Atomium.

The Heat Pump Forum brings together top policymakers, major players from the heating and cooling industry, and relevant influencers.

In the context of spiralling fossil energy bills and the EU’s drive to get off gas faster than before, the Forum will delve into how the sector can help.

It will examine why a heat pump strategy – an ‘accelerator’ - is crucial to meet the new EU target of doubling heat pump deployment rate every year, and what areas such an accelerator needs to cover.

Ambition requires action: mutual recognition agreements and the upskilling transformation

29 September 2022 - online seminar

Given that heat pumps are rapidly becoming a critical component of nearly zero energy buildings, the need to ensure skills and knowledge on both the supply and demand sides is vital.

This event, organised in the context of the EHPA Forum, will present the objectives and activities pursued within the HP4All project, in terms of skills development and recognition for high-quality HP installation in buildings.

HP4All Project aims to analyse the barriers across the HP value chain segments to accurately identify measures, actions and solutions to up-skill the value chain while also driving demand from end-users.

EU Sustainable Energy Week 2022

26-30 September 2022 - EHPA event and online booth

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. It is organised by the European Commission.

This year, EUSEW will take place online and onsite in Brussels, on 26-30 September 2022 under the theme “Going green and digital for Europe’s energy transition”, and EHPA will be present both with an online booth, the ‘Heat Pump Innovation Centre’, and as the co-organiser of a policy event on 29 September.

The policy event, which kicks off at 16:00 CEST and is entitled ‘How can heat pumps transform our power grid?’ will look at how heat pumps can help boost renewables on the path to our future power system, while providing value for consumers.
