EHPA is the voice of the heat pump sector in Brussels.
Our main activities are advocacy and EU policy work; providing market intelligence; managing and participating in EU projects; organising events such as the Heat Pump Forum; helping ensure the quality of the heat pump sector through certification, and communications to support all our workstreams.
Heat pumps are now recognised as key to achieving the EU’s climate and energy targets, and boosting our energy security.
We advocate for EU policy measures that reflect this recognition and boost the smooth roll-out of heat pumps to meet the REPowerEU targets.
With our members, we develop and present sector positions.
We are the sector’s link with MEPs, officials from the Commission and those representing EU governments.
EHPA provides the latest information and news impacting the heat pump market.
EHPA sends a weekly members’ newsletter with the latest information on policy, technology, market, projects and events
EHPA compiles an annual market report. It covers 21 European markets and provides in depth statistics and EU and national market information.
EHPA provides data, presentations, factsheets and technical documents on the members-only section of the website.
EHPA holds the secretariat of the Heat Pump KEYMARK. This is a third-party certification scheme owned by standardisation bodies CEN and CENELEC and based on Ecodesign rules. The certification is based on Ecodesign rules and refers to EN Standards.
EHPA coordinates the development and recognition of the scheme across Europe, with over 150 certificate holders.
EHPA also coordinates its own quality label programme, which is available in 11 countries.
