Winners of the online competition "Most beautiful Efficient Homes" nominated
Feb. 03, 2011 – The online competition "Germany's most beautiful Efficient Homes: Energy from wood - soil - sun" was organized by Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena). More than 240 house owners and architects presented their retrofitted or new built residential buildings. Around 2.000 Internet users decided on the award winners in four regions of Germany. One of the first prices was awarded to a retrofitted multi-family house in Berlin which is heated by an air-to water heat pump. Altogether five out of the twelve award winning buildings are equipped with a heat pump.
