The European Heat Pump Association prepares for the future

May. 30, 2010 – The European Heat Pump Association held its General Assembly on May 19th in the premises of the EU representation of Germany's North Rhine-Westfalia. The event was well attended with 55 member representatives being present. After reporting on activities performed and goals achieved the board was relieved. Important additional issues of the meeting were the election of the board and an adjustment of the statutes due to a change in legal form and location.

As a result, the new board will consist of the established and experienced members: Mr. Karl Ochsner (President), Mrs. Brigitte Bach (Vice-President), Mr. Martin Forsén (Treasurer) and Mr. Johannes Brugmann (Secretary). The board was re-elected unanimously. It was also decided, that the EHPA shall take the legal form of "AISBL" in parallel to its move to the Renewable Energy House (REH).

Apart from administrative issues, members discussed the future orientation of the association, in particular a stronger focus on quality via the EHPA quality label.

The event was completed with a joint dinner in the Restaurant of the Brussels Atomium Landmark.
