TEPCO ’09: CO₂ heat pumps for residential applications

Sep. 02, 2009 – This final article provides an overview as well as an image gallery of the residential CO₂ heat pumps showcased at the Energy Solution & Thermal Storage Fair 2009 in Tokyo, Japan.

Besides the commercial Eco Cute heat pump models discussed in the previous article, several manufacturers showcased at the Tokyo Big Sight International Convention Center their Eco Cute models for residential use. Besides stating the Coefficient of Performance (COP), several manufacturers presented their products’ advantages in terms of their Annual Performance Factor (APF) or the CO2e savings achieved for a given period.
