28% of all new houses in the German state of Northrine Westafalia equipped with heat pumps

Dec. 29, 2011 – Analysing the first 3 quarters of 2011, 28,3 % of all applications for new residential buildings foresee a heat pump for heating. This is a multiplication by factor 40 compared to the year 2000, when 0,7 % of all building permits were granted for buildings with a heat pump system.
