Welcome to EHPA

The European Heat Pump Association represents the interests of the European heat pump industry on international level.

Heat pumps are an unique renewable technology for heating and cooling. They can make a major contribution towards achieving Europe's climate and energy challenges. This mature technology is already the standard solution in Sweden and Switzerland. For more information on its tremendous potential see the EHPA action plan.

CASE STUDY: The STRABAG HOUSE in Vienna, Austria was constructed as a multi-storey multifunctional office property. Energy supply needed for heating and cooling is effected through three ground source heat pumps with an installed cooling capacity of 3x693 kW. They are linked to a closed loop heat exchanger furnished partly in the foundation of the building and partly in 250 cast-in-situ driven piles.
