Thomas Nowak holds a university degree in business administration (1996). After several years of project activity in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development, he joined the EHPA in 2006. Starting as Communications officer, he was nominated as Secretary General in 2009. In his work he represents the association in Brussels and throughout Europe. It includes participation in the different consultation fori, as well as in maintaining contacts with MEPs, the Commission and other associations. Thomas is actively participating in the QualiCert, SEPEMO and Ground-Med projects and is running the daily operation of the association. Apart from that he is member of the Board of the European Technology Platform on Renewable Heating & Cooling (RHC-Platform).
