Mr Forsén recevied his Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering 1997, at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. After a short period at the electric utility Vattenfall, Forsén rejoined the Royal Institute of Technology as a researcher. Forsén was specialising in simulation of heat pump systems and worked closely with the Swedish heat pump industry. In 2003 Mr Forsén was recruited President of the Swedish Heat Pump Association, SVEP. Through his position Mr Forsén got engaged in the European Heat Pump Association where he upholds the positions as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Treasurer. Mr Forsén has participated in a number of European heat pump projects and is since 2008 the appointed editor of the annual publication European Heat Pump Outlook.
