Membership: the application process
Institutions or individuals that consider becoming new members must show a clear interest in supporting the development of the European Heat Pump Industry. They must present the completed membership application form to the board. As new membership must be accepted by all existing members, the application is then presented to the members for a vote.
In case the new member is accepted, this decision is communicate to the applicant.
Members and Partners
The Association is open primarily to all legally constituted organisations in the European Union including national and regional associations, suppliers, utilities, individual manufacturers, energy efficiency agencies and networks and international organisations. (Members)
Organisations in the European Free Trade Association and aspirant states to the European Union, may become Associate Members.
Others who may take part in the Association's activities are as follo
- Observers
- Individual persons
- Sponsors: they give financial support to the Association
- Honorary members: a title granted freely to legal entities or individuals in recognition of eminent services rendered to EHPA.
Membership Fee 2010
At the General Assembly on 3 May 2007 in Paris members decided on the following membership fee structure for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010:
- Commercial enterprises
5.000 € (annual turnover larger than EUR 5.000.000)
3.000 € (.. between EUR 1.000.000 and EUR 5.000.000)
1.000 € (.. smaller than or equal to EUR 1.000.000)
- Research institutes, governmental organisations and universities
500 €
- European interest groups, national heat pump associations
5.000 € (annual turnover larger than EUR 1.000.000)
3.500 € (.. between EUR 500.000 and EUR 1.000.000)
2.000 € (.. between EUR 100.000 and EUR 500.000)
500 € (.. smaller than or equal to EUR 100.000)
- Associate members
300 € for legal bodies
100 € for individual persons
The fee does not include the VAT. If your organisation is registered in a Member State of the EU than you can forward your VAT registration number and you do not need to pay the VAT.
